One of the guys at our field brings his Golden Retriever " Scratch" from time to time. Scratch is well behaved and knows the difference between a crashed plane and one that has landed properly. In fact, she runs over to the plane that crashed and waits there for the owner of the plane to come over and collect the pieces... That beats having to go search in the tall grass.
That's a great idea. If my Golden wasn't so lazy and retarted I'd train him to do the same thing.
