Make sure the starter box wheel is turning before it hits the flywheel. If it is on the flywheel before the wheel starts spinning it wont have enough torque to turn the motor over. Also turn the flywheel as far as you can with your fingers in the opposite direction that the starter box will turn it. It will give it a little momentum before the piston hits the top of the revolution.
