I have yet to fly a turbine trainer but should have my super reaper ready to do just that in about two weeks. I have how ever flown a duct fan top gun f-15 jet for the last past 2 years and in my opinion it would be a very good experience.The building of the jet,set up of the engine,plumbing,flaps, retracts,and flying has to be worth something. The only thing different to me with jets from prop planes was longer take off runs to build up air speed,once in the air jets are faster and also land a little faster.I think the real key is getting started with the right jet trainer(entry level).
