Yikes. I have tamiya tanks. It appears these DBUs may not be compatible. Back to looking for the TBU.
They are compatible in the fact that the can record hits and take damage the same. However the TBU uses one IR sensor with a mirror array to sense, the DBU uses four IR sensors. Apparently they work well together though.
