Default Venus.40 for Pattern? (What plane?)

A 46FX does not have the pull of a 65LA by a long shot. Regardless of horsepower ratings, it swings a larger prop and pulls harder. Unless you think a 46FX can swing a 12x6 at 14K? Or even attempt to swing a 13x8? In addition, a buggy .21 engine can be rated at 2 HP (and many are). Do you think one of those is more powerful for airplane use than a strong .46, also rated near 2 HP? No, because the .21 would be spinning a small, inefficient prop at high RPMs to get that horsepower. The same is the case with the larger 60 engine. It may be rated the same HP but in the real world there is no comparison. The 65LA on my QHOR will pull it straight up harder than any .46FX, just ask anyone who has seen it fly. In fact the vertical is just about the same as my friend's Magnum 75-powered QHOR. The MAN article even shows the 65LA to be more powerful than the 61FX. I guess I'll keep the secret of one of the best 60 size engines out there; just because the engine says LA on the side doesn't mean anything in the real world.
