I know it's past Christmas, but if you feel like you're going to do a lot of building. Start making a wishlist of tools you'd like to have. Then keep this wishlist where people can find it, like magnetted to the frig. Then whenever there is a birthday, or other gift giving occasion, the givers have a great list of something they can give you... Make sure to list small things, like clamps, to big things, like a magnetic building board system. That way, the giver can get you something in their budget range. When you get something, cross it off the list.

Later in life when you get married, your wife won't have problems knowing what you want. Of course, be warned, turn-about is fair play, be prepared to see her list right beside yours. (Actually, this might be a GOOD thing, as the husbands on this forum could probably attest! )
