ORIGINAL: chevypower1930

how would you go about taking apart the wings?
there is A LOT of epoxy on there and in there on the dehedral brace and everything

I mean I can grab it and try to bend it and I cant... I just really dont want these wings to fold but I dont know how to go about taking these wings apart.. I think if I could get an inline long sander I could probably fix the wings and get the inside edges the same.. I think it was just the fact that the sanding was not EXACTLY even on both sides... but I could only do so much w/ just a sanding block..
Well... I would probably start with a Dremel cutoff wheel in that gap on the top. If that didn't do the trick, I'd follow it up with a hacksaw. Don't bend it as this will surely cause damage elsewhere. My guess is you do not have these tools. Sounds like others feel like you're okay and that they've seen worse - possibly the easiest thing to do here is glass it and go on and chalk it up to experience. Don't get frustrated.
