Full size exotic sports cars put enough downforce on the ground to drive upside down this means they generate somewhere around 4000 pounds of downforce on the cars suspension to keep it on the ground. When a maclearn f1 or other newer cars that are fast go over 230 mph they need to put down more downforce than the car weights to keep it from going airborn. With your average family car you need to hit around 90mph if you had wings to make it fly so if your trying to hit those speeds with an rc car you need a big big motor and lots of downforce. I guess thats why it takes 700+ hp to go over 230 mph. Oh yah and if you can put this much downforce on your car you tires won't be able to go pizza cutter on you.
