I have been following your Yak build and your doing a great job.............

I balance every model laterally about the same you do..I don't know if I would rotate the engine in order to gain this, it might upset other things along the way. I have been able to move equipment inside to gain most of the balance and then I usually only have to fine tune with nothing bigger than a nail....just keep cutting it off until I have the closest balance I can get. I'll embed the nail in the wing tip and glue it in and recover over that spot. Seems to work.

Matter fact I just finished doing a preliminary balance on my new WH Edge 540 with the DL50 on it. Looks like it is going to be right close to where I need it.

Is your Yak going to have the DL50 on it?

Well keep up the good work on the Yak.....Great thread BTW. I might have to make that my next project.
