Old Airtronics plugs had the wires in a different order from everyone else. The newer Airtronics "Z" connectors are compatiable with everyone else now.

Here's a picture "borrowed" from Tower's website that shows the old Airtronics to new "Z" type converter cable. Note the order of the red and black wires at both ends, they swap places.



Speaking of old connectors, anyone else remember Futaba "G" connectors?
