Default Why not a 9ch 2.4 module/receiver yet ?

Any idea why futaba has introduced a 7ch and an 8ch module for the 9C radios to convert to 2.4 but not a 9 channel module and receiver ?

I mean what is the point of having the 9 ch radio and when you are willing to keep it but convert it, you have to lose a channel ?

This really limits the options of a scale copter. I know 9 channel receivers are available, but without the module they are useless. And never mind the fact that when you get the 8ch module you are stuck using the 9ch receiver. No 8ch ? Extra money for nothing.

This really makes no sense up to now.The more you think about it, you wonder what were they thinking ?

I am thinking of converting, but the more I think about it, the more I find myself looking into the JR X9303.

Futaba in my opinion is loosing the battle here. I prefer Futaba myself, find it easier to program, but the chances are they will lose me as a customer.

Anyway, I was wondering why this is, maybe anyone knows why or has any info on an upcoming new module/receiver ?
