All they have between the carb and the reed block is gasket, and between the reed block and the case is another gasket. no sealent required. If you have to remopve the carb for any reason be very careful not to over tighten as you can crack the reed block, causing an air leak that cannot be seen, without inspecting very closley.


I have left the carb as is on both of mine.
