you will need to setup up throttle kill or the throttle recover to kill the engine. but it's pertty easy to do
I know there was a thread about that but in still not sure. My trainer doesn’t have a cowl so I don’t think it is necessary.
It's ALWAYS necessary. As a safety concern you MUST be able to kill the engine at any time. On the bench, taxiing or in flight. This is also a requirement by AMA for some planes such as turbines (jets).
