Hello I have just ordered my DX7 and have a few questions.

I have a 4.8V Ni-MH 1500mAH battery with universal plug, so will the work well with the AR7000

I have standard Futaba S3003 servos what do I need to do to make these work with the spectrum receivers

Lastly I believe I have herd that the TX battery is week and needs to be replaced what will work

Thanks
I bought a Spectrum DX 7 last year when they were first announced. It came with a 1500 mah NMH batt. That will last a long time in the transmitter.
The Horizon Web site still advertises :

Specs
# of Channels:7
Receiver:AR7000
Programming Features:Aircraft and Heli
Model Memory:20 Model Memory

Transmitter (Tx) Battery Type:1500mAh Ni-MH

They were sending a chunk of crap for a wall-wart charger. Maybe that has changed.

You can make most any market servos work just like all radios. Those old Airtronic systems had the black and red wires reversed. Easy to remove the pins and cross them over. Black to black and red to red or whatever color is doing the black and red jobs. Not hard to guess!! It works. "Xacto technology" can easily provide for the plugs to fit where ever plugs go.

Best of Luck
