Honestly the MDS .40 is not enough engine to pull this plane around. The X-tra Easy is as big as many .60 sized planes and while the MDS is not a bad engine, it just isn't up to the task.

I pulled the .40 off and replaced it with an MDS .48 and saw a HUGE increse in performance and controlability.
