Does anyone have the H9 Extra Easy II?
I must be really lucky with my MDS .40. I have gone back to a MAS 11-4, spinning at 14000 and can do just about anything I want with my Xtra Easy. Maybe, I just got one of the good ones, not sure. Before I received mine, I had heard of the complaints about the mds .40 not having enough power, for me it is just not true. I did have a 11-5 APC, but I just didn't like it. It came in too fast on the landings (really not that fast, but for a floater) and seemed to just not perform that well. When I switched to the 11-4 MAS, I can take off in a few feet (15 or so) and with a little head wind I can almost hover (not very good at it yet). It definitly isn't a speed demon, but it has been a blast the last couple of flights.
RCBOZO, this is what I did to check the incidence. Get a level and place the plane on a level work area. Check the level of the wing by placing the level underneath the wing. The wing should be pretty much level, I personnally didn't have to do anything to the wing. Now, carefully place the level on top of the stab, making sure the plane doesn't move or push the tail down. I had to add a shim to make the rear stab level to the wing. My stab was point down toward the front about half an inch which would make the plane climb at anything above a quarter throttle. Now, the wing and stab are both level to the table the plane was sitting on, which was also leveled before I started. Hope this helps.
