There was no binding, i did try and reprogram and nothing just got worse. It now is twitching both ways, the 3000mah battery from redcat when hooked up starts to melt the ESC in a matter of 30sec. I take it the ESC is shot, man that sucks i never even got a chance to drive it!
Sounds like the components inside need to be beefed up a bit to handle the amps that our motors demand.
If you can, tear it apart and look for black marks (signs of burned up component). Take a clear picture if possible and post it. If everyone happens to be smoking the same component, then the manufacturer of the ESC needs to look into why that component is failing and how to replace it with something fit for the job.
