RE: new Arf Boomerang 14lb thrust
Hi.
As i continue tinkering my Boomerang i decided to fit 4 M1 A123 cells (2S2P also gives some kind of added safety)
in order to power both the turbine and the receiver/servos with one pack.
All my calculations seem to be in order, the turbine and the receiver work ok so i will try it when the wind calms down.
The wind here is 9 beaufort so flying is too risky.
I have also fitted a DC filter between the power and the receiver which i made in my lab (both common and differential mode)
in order to avoid any interference from the ECU.
I switched the IPD filter off and the servos do not move which is encouraging.
I always hated having two batteries to charge and take care off.
