RE: balsa usa phaeton 90
Thanks cubdriver, but I have the plans and will scratch out the next. Got some ideas I want to try. The main one being, adding about +1deg incedence to the stab. I've got two 1/4 scale cubs and a TF giant P-47 to finish building before I take on any new projects. The zero flew today. Very sucessful flight. Stalls straight ahead, and very predictable on the landing descent. Had a small issue with a retract mount but a quick fix. A good plane.
Yes, I did get the big Sig Sun Dancer at the swapmeet. Today, Robin flew behind the cedar tree line and split his ugly stick into 5 big pieces. So I have some competition for utltimate dumb thumb. I think I'll be railroaded at the meeting next week. They all watched while I practically dug the engine out of that hole in the ground. Never did find the pilot. MIA!
