Default RE: E-SKY honey bee KING 2. tail problem. and how to make it staty.

Interesting to see that I'm not alone with the spinning problem. I have the gyro in Reverse. Tail rotor is neutral. I start the left spin while on the floor (carpet) and if I lift off I have an amazing spinning top in the air. I have tried by passing the gyro, looking to control it manually for a test run. No difference. I moved the tail servo forth and back. No difference. Belt is tight and rotor turns counter clockwise. Using right cyclic during lift doesn't help. Everything else on the bird is set carefully to tolerance. It should fly as well as my T-Rex 450. This has me totally wiped out!

The only thing that I can come up with for a fix at this time, is that I am planning on swapping out the belt. I recently applied a lot of pure silicone lube to the belt. Although it seems tight, perhaps there is slippage. However, in watching the rotor as I am running it up, it appears to be moving fast enough. That is....it appears to be.

My guess is that the problem relates to tail authority or that is the lack of it. After playing around with the gyro setting I don't know where or how to set it properly at this point. There doesn't seem to be any mechanical end points on that setting. But then again, I don't think that the gyro is my imediate issue. Or is it??? I welcome your thoughts. Thanx.....Rich
