Balsarite along the leading edge works too and it is fuel proof. Clean off excess with Ironex. Be careful with this stuff because Ironex also will remove the color on the iron on strip if you use too much of it on the cloth that you are using to remove the excess Ironex. I used to do this a lot but found out that is less trouble to cut my trim from monokote and iron it down. To prevent bubbles, punch some pin holes into the area that you will be covering so that the gasses can get out.
