That would be an easy fix.
You can cut new slots and install new CA hinges or even dig the old ones out and re-use the old slots. I have done it myself.
To dig the old hinge out, work the blade of your hobby knife (use a new sharp #11 blade) along each side of the hinge staying as close to the hinge as possible, Don't try to go too deep, carefully pry the old hinge out with the tip of your knife. Once you get it loose enough it will pop right out. Test fit the new hinge and rung your knife through the slot as needed to get a good snug fit. It would help to drill a small hole in the center of the slot to help the CA wick in.
If you dig the old hinge out you have to be carefull not to damge the structure but can be done if you are carefull.
If you are carefull the worst that is likely is you get the slot too wide in which case you can go to a wider type epoxy hinge or fill the slot with epoxy and use one of the other suggestions.
