RE: semetrical VS flat bottom ?
The plasti blades have some good things about them, and some bad.
Good: I got into probably half a dozen crashes while I was learning with the Pro and the plasti blades. These things are virtually indestructible. The blades stayed intact, but other parts of the heli took a hit.
Bad: The main shaft would bend, and the feathering shaft would most certainly bend. Sometimes the blades would strike the boom, and go right through both the boom and the wires for the rudder motor. It all depends on what you want. Woodies you can usually just slap on a new pair, and then you are up again. The plasti ones though will require you to replace several things.
Your choice though. Sorry, no recommendations on the landing gear- they are real crap. I switched helis before I made too big of a commitment.
Later!
