thanks for your help missleman im still a newbie so im probably just gonna wait till i get a little more expierence under my thumbs before i actually fly the 580 ! i just put a skyraider mach 1 together so im getting ready for warmer temps so i can maiden it ! my trainer now is a nexstar and im just getting good and comfortable with it i also have a alpha 60 arf to put together but i havnt got a engine yet! a good friend also has the alpha 60 and is undecided on his engine also! are 4 strokes as messy as the 2 strokes?
Messy? they are about the same, you are burning the same fuel.
A warning on that Cap 580, it can be a hand full and I would not fly it until at least your 3rd maybe 4th plane and that includes at least one prior low wing tail dragger.
