I took the long way here. I soaked 1/16th sheeting with alcohol (dries quickly) then formed it in place holding it down with tape, etc. Once it is dry the wood pretty much holds its shape and is easy to glue down with wood glue. The next layer of 1/16th is layered to the first with the same wood glue.

Takes time but you end up with a very strong sheeting section.
