Default RE: Hobby People and Modelfly question

When you construct your ARC airplane I suggest that you SCORE all glue areas. The instructions say to lightly sand but SCORING forms a better glue joint. Also when you put the floats togeather : there are small pins (plastic ) that are pressed into the float for the mounts to screw into, put lots of glue in the holes and be sure to SCORE the pins. The extra glue in the holes should expand out into the holes to give more structure to the pins and float surface. ( it's just foam inside )

I've constructed every one of the ARC planes and 2 or 3 of some and still have some of them and they are GREAT planes and with a little thought during construction and a little care when done they will last a long time. My Ready is about 10 years old or so.

I check in here every few days and if I can help just leave a note and I'll try, as I said I've done all the ARC / Modelfly planes a nd even some you haven't seen. You will LOVE them. ENJOY !!! RED
