RE: Where to learn about kinds of pattern flying?
Wow, thanks for all the great messages! Everything I needed and more. I'm off to go check these links out.
I happened to come across a newsletter from something like the Vintage Pattern Club, sounded like a local thing. Had a picture of a Kaos. Man that thing had a long fuse. Got me curious about the older pattern stuff. I'm pretty new to RC but pattern is quickly becoming my focus (well, slow flying too, which is why I asked about a pattern plane that also does small slow maneuvers).
BTW, hope mentioning foamies is OK here.....though I want to do pattern flying with a "real" plane like an Aspera or Andrew Jesky. Anyway, I came across the Hyperion Sniper today. Flat foamie (those seem weird to me). They look very patternish with very long fuse. There are a 40" and 60" wingspan models.
