Also great answer on the glues. The main thing you have to look at is the set up time and strength of each type. For the main structures like firewalls, landing gear, bulkheads, ect always use epoxy. It takes a little while to set up but a must for high stress areas. Like Todd said if you have a tight joint use the thin because it seeps down into the wood and joins them together. Medium is what I prefer most of the time it allows a few extra seconds to place the balsa where you want it. Of course lastly is the thick. Great for anything really that you need additional time to place balsa where you need it.
