Rainedave, You may want to have your eyes checked before you fly again, mine can't compare to your efforts. And yes I also love the 3/4 view of pattern planes. I don't want to live in a world without good lookin planes! Thanks for the compliment.

Jeff, Thanks for the compliment. Got some bad news, I've decided I can't cut my canopy and I'm going to use a side exhaust engine. (I can be such a wimp at times.) This is my first DB, although I've built many Super Kaos'. I hope I can enjoy it also.

One note on one Super Kaos I built. I always bragged that my plane could take any flight load put on it. So one day (Long before anyone thought of a blender.) I took it up high and at full throtle I nosed it over into a dive and after a few seconds I put it into a violent negative snap. And snap it did, in fact it sounded like someone fired off a shot gun. So I got it out of the dive and gingerly landed the plane. After going over it with a fine tooth comb no damage could be found. Flew it for another year or so then sold it to another club member and he flew it till he crashed it. In fact I do believe that the tailfeathers are still flying on a Kaos somewhere. Never could figure what caused the loud bang when doing that snap. And I've never done that again, nor do I want to.

Mark

P.S. I'm going to put the air tank for the retracts in the canopy airspace. May as well make use of all that space!
