OK listen up, Saber is the new formula, formulated about 3 years ago, the original Amsoil was simply called 100-1, it was a thick black stinky oil, almost smelled like rear end oil from a car, The new formula (Saber) is a transparent blue, very similar to Lawn-boy. I've used Saber with success until I scorched a piston in my BME 102. I don't know if it was the oil's fault, I've been running Saber in it for about 2 years with no problems, but the burnout got me skeptical.
