There are aftermarket aluminum booms avaialble. I remember stumbling across them somewhere for cheap. For me the problem isn;t the boom its the frame where the boom mounts as it is such as small mating surface and is easily broken. I used heavy glue to fasten the boom the whole way up the HH Gyro flat mount for added strength.
