That plane is begging to be covered in fabric and then painted.
Gotta agree with Charlie on this one - 1/4 scale cub ... almost a shame to cover it in plastic coating. Now to your question - IF you are using Mono/Ultra cote, I would not cover in blue then come back with white triangles - you will likely struggle with bubbles over such large areas. I'd piece together the plastic covering first, then cover...
