If you're very comfortable flying your E-Flite Mini Ultra Stick, I'd think the Extra should be manageable.

From what I've been told, transitioning from lightweight electric planes to glow powered ones does take getting used to. I'd have a very experienced pilot do the maiden flight, and possibly buddy box me on my first flight or two.
