Check out SolarTex fabric. Coverite fabric is 2.7 oz per sq yard - SolarTex is about 2.3 oz. SolarTex doesnot require Balsarite on the airframe to get it to stick and any overlap seams are SUBSTANTIALLY less noticeable. Balsa USA carries it.
