Default Please help an electric NOOB!

I flew R/C for several years in the late 90's and am wanting to get back into it withOUT the fuel, mess and clean-up!

I've kept sharp on the simulator from time to time and recently bought an Align 450SE V2 heli as a start to electron-flying.

Tonight I came across a plane on Ebay that I went ahead and ordered: It's a 46" Hyperion Cap 232 25E

I picked it because it looks about right for my flying experience AND because it should fly on my Kong and ThunderPower 3S 2100 and 2200 packs from my heli and since I already own 5 packs and a couple of chargers that ought to save some $$$.

At any rate, I see Hyperion suggests a Hyperion HP-Z3019-12 motor and a Hyperion HP-Titan 50A BEC control.

SO NOW... I FINALLY get to my question...

I don't know SQUAT about these new outrunner motors OR the related speed controllers. I see that the Z3019-12 lists it's vital specs as:

Outside Diameter 37mm
Length 44mm
Weight 142 Grams
KV rpm/V 900 (Not sure what THAT means yet!)
Peak Current 42A for 60 sec.

They also recommend either a 50A or 80A BEC controller

SO.... I'd love to hear some input on the 2 or 3 "best brands" of outrunner type motors and controllers and any SPECIFIC suggestions of which model motor and controller would be a good replacement for the Hyperion or a good match for this airframe:

46" span
42" length
430 Sq In Wing area
2.25 to 2.50 lbs (1000-1200 grams)

Thanks in advance for your help. I'm a little lost without just being able to say a .45 2-stroke or a .60 4-stroke, etc. LOL!
