BTW just a general question, dont you need to discharge your batteries or something like that after your' done running your electric.?

Some people probbibly do, but I don't. I just discharge it in the car. When the car starts to slow down (low batteries) I take it in and throw in another one.
Lipos can balance when there charging so I don't think theres much work there.
A123 are indistructable.

I think Nicad is the one that needs to be discharged. They have a memory effect. Not many people that I know use them anymore though.
