Mea culpa
I had a piece of black gas line on the last portion of the fuel line, where it enters the carb nipple. It seems it was excessive priming[:@]
I removed that piece of black line, assembled the silencer and got the engine to the running stand, with yesterdays last bit of fuel. Primed until fuel reaches the carb and it started in a dozen flips or so, showing signs of life on the 3rd flip. No need to mess with the needle setting from yesterday, compression just set a quarter turn for starting, 10100rpm at WOT on the same 9x4. I'm cool![8D]
