Default Quick question aerodynamics.

Today I took my Pitts out to the field to fly. I was running and tuning the engine full power and I noticed that when I had my throttle more then 1/2 power (OS46 FX) the ailerons would start to lose control. They would both sort of go in the up posistion together until I came down back to 1/2 throttle, then they would resume normal movement. I was wondering before I start pulling it apart .... is this normal for "at rest". I was thinking that maybe in the air the effect would go away because of the wind coming
over and under the wing would stabilize the ailerons while in flight. Or should the ailerons act normally at full power test on the ground.

Anything will help.
