There is almost no load on the throttle arm, so something as simple as this will work.

Bring the pushrod out of the factory hole in the firewall. Bend it 90 degrees toward the throttle arm. Put it through the hole in the arm and bend it 90 degrees forward.

In other words it will be a huge Z-bend from the firewall hole to the throttle arm. Sounds sloppy, but it will work fine.
