Personally I think this is a way bad idea on the Hype. The sides of the fuse at the tail have enough problems supporting the loads imposed by the horizontal stab without having holes made for servos. Sure you'd put thin ply in and brace the vert/horz stabs. From memory i don't think you can brace because of the relative positions of the vert/horz stabs.

My horz stab snapped through one side of the fuse. Wing survived and I used tri-balsa inside and out on the replacement fuse due to paranoia. Flew brilliantly after than until my reciever battery failed.

Sounds like people are having the same structural problems with the new original Hype but actually I think some people may be putting in the closed loops incorrectly or to tight. Easy to do.
