HYPE 3D dual tail servos ?
Cutting away rear portion of airframe. Didn't that
weaken the structure ?
It actually strengthens it, putting in those servo bearers makes it very rigid. If you look closley you may also see where I have added extra balsa inside the fuz where the horizontal stab passes through.
Anyway IMHO elevator is more of problem than
rudder. That's the reason why I wanted to
go with dual elevator servos. [/B][/QUOTE]
I've never really had a problem with the elevator, occasional tightening of the closed loop, nothing else really.
What are you experiencing??
My reason for doing the rudder was because in a hover the Hype would always drop to the left even with loads of right thrust on the motor. Fitting the servo in the tail cured the problem, much faster and much more powerfull rudder action.
