Raindave- thanks for posting those Mutchler's Ad's!

I have two of the ones called "Phoenix 60" and I never knew their origin. They were my dad's and he always called them Phoenix but I was confused because they sure aren't the Don Lowe design.

Does anyone know if the Mutchler's Phoenix 60 is actually a Magic knock-off? To me, that's what it looks like and I've always wondered....
