Yeah 50CC seems like way too much engine given the size and weight of the plane, but that is what was recommended. The 40CC looks like it would be a better fit.

I'm hoping it will at least fly.

I'm worried about the relatively high wing loading, although the plane should come in at about what the specs say or less from the looks of things so far.
