Oh man, i loved this plane (as a seagul extra), it was great. So that, + the fact that you always wanted a Patty i see no shame in overpaying to get it as long as you can afford it and you know that you are consciously overpaying for a variation of a product that costs about 40% less.
I'd like one too, but i have so many planes already that i just can't justify it and i don't want it "169.99$" badly.
If i did though, what i would do is contact the only local hobby shop i know of that carries some graupner stuff and ask it if he can get it for me at a better price. He's in Canada but he ships worldwide. Send him an email, you have nothing to loose.
