Default RE: RCSCALEBUILDER down the tubes?

I appreciate Todd's candid reply on the speed of RCSB, but I am with RodanAZ as this being my single biggest complaint with RCSB. I have broadband wireless that is typically fast but not with RCSB. I have started timing my refresh speeds and they sometimes take up to 1 min. 45 sec. to load. It can drive you nuts. I would visit much more often and even post more if it were not for the slow speeds. The content is fantastic and I feel obligated to stay in tune with the Jerry Bates Plans thread just to keep an eye on what builders are doing with my Wildcat fuses. So I will stay a customer and hope for more speed.

Now what I find funny are the earlier posts along the lines of RCSB being the greatest site on earth and indications that RCU is this ARF world where the bottom dwellers feed. Now I admit that RCSB is top shelf, but it becomes hypocritical when those same pilots come back here to RCU again and again to surf these pages. Let's face it, there is good stuff here and you can easily weed out the junk. The way I look at it RCU is that this is the place to communicate with the whole range of builders and pilots. There are times that I want to dwell on an ARF or ARC like the TF Mustang and I want to connect with anyone who has the slightest interest in this airplane. By doing it here on RCU I accomplish that. Fresh postings I make on my build thread will get 75 - 100 views a day. You could only dream of numbers like that on RCSB. I also know for a fact that some of the top modelers in the nation periodically view these threads. Top Gun, Nationals, and U.S. Scale Masters competitors. They've commented at competitions or via PM's that they have see the theads. So they are here lurking.
