actually, I/We appreciate any and all comments. whereas we all cant agree
whether its fast, slow, blue black or whatever, thats fine. critisism works both
ways, good and bad. we take the bad, and work on it, we take the good and
expand on it. We arent perfect, fast and perfected as RCU is. but we also dont
have the financial backing as RCU does here as well. they have a business they
run here. and a good one at that.
there are times that I, as an Admin there have a tough time with time out issues. it just happens
now and again. I know with the new site Mike is working on, and our own server
we are working on resolving alot of speed issues.
I know a couple of you have posted here that are no longer members at RCSB.
well, your original screen names anyways. I dont like that things didnt work out
for you guys. One of you in particular I hate seeing that I asked you over there, and
then things went sideways. Hate that it went that way, but things can change, because it
did for you here.
ulitmatley, we dont expect to be the biggest, baddest, fastest site here in the RC
world. just trying to do the best we can, and keep making changes. but, for the most
part back to the original post of this thread, we are not going under, we actually have
gained members recently, and are working on bettering what we have.
yes it went badly sideways, from day one I was discriminated against and I see that same set of behaviours emerging on this site and no doubt I will be banned in due course for speaking my mind against some thin skinned mod and has control issues.
whatever.
As we say in the corporate world the only way things can change is from the top down, the whole culture & mentatility needs to change for it to work. The only way for that to happen is for those at the top to have a whole different mindset.
I have my doubts it can be turned around on RCSB, too many overinflated egos, I see those same egos at work here pushing their agendas and acting as gestapo.
For creest sake we only want to to have a conversation with our mates and enjoy our hobby. What are we doing so wrong that our every word and thought has to be policed by big brother. Give me a break
