I guess I am sorta old school and still flip a plane like this upside down and balance it on my finger tips near the fusalage. When I first flew the plane I ballanced it at 4.25 inches back from the leading edge. It flew fine and was balanced there for my video. Since then I rebalanced it at 4 inches (closer to the 103 mm the manual calls for (103mm/25.4=4.05 in)). I think it is a little less snappy (read as scary) this way. But it still does the nice spins and tumbles. With the tappered wing, I am not sure what the balance point out at the wing tips would be. Good luck and I look forward to your flight report.
