You seem to have gotten over your shyness in flying this one. How did you find the transition from the Super Cub to this? You really were tearing up the sky! Have you gotten to the point where you quit scaring yourself with it on occasion? Try not to let overconfidence ruin your day, keep some altitude in it, it looks like you are really having a good time with it.
I'm still way braver with the Super Cub, after flying the T-28 flying the Cub is so much easier, I wanted to fly the cub that day also, but I was in a hurry trying to get a few flights in before dark and forgot the batterys to the Cub on my work bench at home.
I still fly the whole "3 mistakes high" most of the time. I find that if I don't try to many manuvers at one time I can stay ahead of the plane so I don't let myself get into the panic zone.

Looked like you had fun. A little scary on the landing
ya, I'm still working on the landings with the T-28. I need to fly a few batterys just doing touch and goes to get smoother and get into the practice of useing the rudder for small course corrections.

Are you flying out there in the surrounding desert or with a club?
The group of guys in the Imperial Valley are a great bunch and some real good fliers.
Check 'em out some day.
I'm a few miles from my house, there are a lot of empty streets with no houses, trees, or powerlines. I like to fly there, there is an intersection right behind where I was standing so I can take off into the wind no matter which way its comming from. I haven't checked out any clubs in Imperial Valley. I did stop by the CVRCC airstrip last weekend in Thermal and talked to a few guys for a while
about joining their club. they have a really nice runway and a Heli pad off to the side. when I get a few extra bucks I plan on joining the AMA and the club. unfortunatly everyone was packing up for the day when I went there so I didn't get to see anyone fly.
