Default RE: What engine???

It's got plenty of wing area for the weight. Thats the whole idea of a profile.

I flew mine with an OS 61FX. This was YEARS ago before the Tower .75 and lighter engines came around. At the time, it was either a .60 or you had to jump to the next class-- the .90 engines. I knew a .90 was too big.

Mine flew fine with the 61FX. Were I to build the same kit today, I'd probably use a TH .75. It's lighter than a 61FX and lots more power.

I realize your flying a a much lower elevation than me, so your standard .46--.50 engine will work. Why not try the OS 55AX? Or the Magnum 52XLS? The OS is expensive. I wouldn't buy it for that reason. They run decent, but overpriced for me. The Magnum is usually a good deal. I have the .46XLS and really like it. OS quality and running characteristics with a good price tag.
