Yea the idea of running a fail safe with the pack is for peace of mind IMO. Yea I can fresh my batteries every other night but the packs seem the way to go. I will be getting probably a standard 1200 pack with a charger soon. But for these easy days I will stick to my AA's cause I just replaced my box and radio with new sets.
